When the Step Ahead Training Center opened in May of 2009, it was clear there were many significant challenges to be met in the goal of changing lives of women at risk of sexual exploitation. Our goal was to make new economic opportunities, by making amazing high quality woven leather products that actually tend to make one think of similar products from Italy.

Therefore, today we are happy fifteen women in Pattaya are now making new lives for themselves, making the most amazing woven leather purses never to come from Italy.

Pattaya is infamous the world over for having one of four inhabitants involved in the sex trade. Now as this new woven leather line ITSERA (freedom in Thai) finds its way to western markets in the USA, Europe, and Australia, many of you will help bring freedom and a better life to women at risk.
